Buys on plasma TVs are red hot 
No longer the “latest thing,” high-definition TV nonetheless is still an evolving technology, with improved displays making already sharp pictures even sharper. LCD TVs are among the leaders in this advance, with many models incorporating the new 1,080p resolution. Close on their heels, however, are plasma sets.

Nov. 28 (Bloomberg) — Japanese stocks dropped on concern growth may slow in the U.S. and at home, the world’s two largest economies, after oil prices rose and retail sales fell in Japan. Toyota Motor Corp. and Canon Inc. led declines.
